You can learn a lot about someone by the music they listen to. So here is the game! Hit shuffle on your iPod or MP3 player and write down the first 25 songs. No cheating or skipping songs that are shameful. That is the fun!


Because... A) 90% of my music is considered lame and shameful xp I really don't care at all. I happen to like said music. I just find it ironic that the description says I shouldn't skip them. Yeeah, because then I'd be skipping all my music ever, duh.
And B) this will in no way accurately teach you anything about me, if I'm not allowed to skip songs XD you'll probably just get 70% Xena score, and then some nerd music. I guess that teaches you a little bit about me. Though mostly that I'm a nerd and that I like Xena XD Which you already know if you read my journal.

xp I basically skip 70% of what shuffles when I listen to music. It's very inconvenient, and I should do something about that. That's why I almost never listen to music from the main playlist library thing. I just go to my organized playlists, or search for certain artists that I want to listen to at that time.

We'll see what happens xp
Either way, this is going to be interesting. I'll probably want to cheat at some point...


1: As Lovers Go - Dashboard Confessional
(I don't even know why I have this song. I don't even recognize it. It's probably a song somebody at Kaitaka.net thought was very Tyson/Kai-ish years ago, and I downloaded it to have a listen.)

2: Bobby Brown - Frank Zappa
(My friend DL sent me this song years ago. I basically don't delete songs I receive.)

3: Whatsername - Green Day
(frejasanne got me to listen to Green Day when she was very into them a couple of years[?] ago. But I only listened to a few songs on repeat and thought the boys were pretty xp That was pretty much it. I've somehow ended up having all of their albums [I think?] on my computer...)

4: Maybe - Alison Krauss
(LOL! I don't remember why I had one of her songs... Because I think I did? I just remember that I googled more of her lyrics and thought several of her songs seemed Tyson/Kai appropriate, so I downloaded them. I basically thought any love song ever was TyKa when I was a teenager xp Sigh.
But they're not TyKa at all to me XD They are Gaia fishing! I always listened to my dozen-or-so Alison Krauss songs on repeat when fishing at Gaiaonline with my friend Kai XD)

5: Give You Back - Vertical Horizon
(OMG! This song is on my computer because it was posted to go along with one of the first real fanfiction stories I ever read! Harry Potter! Irresistible Poison!)

6: Late Goodbye - Poets of the Fall
(YES, YES, YES! SO MUCH YES! Max Payne song! I love his voice. Uh, singer of the band that is. But GODD I love Max Payne's voice too! DEATH! Death! I found PotF in a TyKa AMV, and that one song made me check out more of their music. Aaah! And then... Max Payne! The game. I- death! Then I found out they did this song for Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. Just- awesome! AWESOME! The John Mirror bit omg wtf I hate that funhouse part! ... Ignore me.)

7: Prince Edwards Search - Alan Menken
(I have never listened to this song. It's score from the movie Enchanted. I only got the soundtrack to get the sing-songy songs. Not the boring score.)

8: God Is A Girl [DJ Splash Remix]-tranceinfaction.tk- - Groove Coverage.
(I can probably just list this song without all the remix crap. But since it's not the original, I guess I can't... Because this is what shuffled. Never listened to this either. The regular version of the song is epicly nice, though. I love Groove Coverage. Have for years.)

9: Sacrifice - ... I don't know. It doesn't have artist filled out. But... What's his name? Christophe Beck, I guess?
(Buffy score from the episode The Gift. Nice piece. The Buffy score soundtrack is the only one I've ever listened a little to. I skip everything else xp I would listen to Stargate, if I had it... Because Joel Goldsmith is aweeeesome!)

10: Graphic Novel - Max Payne
(Yeah, uh, I wonder if that is the proper title, and I wonder who actually wrote the game music. Because I doubt the character Max is the artist. Woooow, though, this is making me miss Max Payne so much! I should play it again but it's not good for my health. Maybe I'll just watch the story run then XD It's a plan!)

11: För Fruktkorgen - MugiMugi SD-choir
(Yeeeeah, okay, wtf. This was an April's Fool prank on some Swedish anime website a thousand years ago... I guess? I had it sent to me, and the story was told down the line. So I don't know the details first hand. But, uh, in short they posted a Swedish version of the Fruits Basket intro and said that the show would start airing with said intro on Swedish TV... Everyone was appalled.)

12: Honey Pie - The Beatles
(Beatles is frejasanne's fault as well. xp Sorry, Q, I never listen to them. Have all the albums you gave me here, though... Alongside with Green Day.)

13: Only Love - Groove Coverage
(Huh. You are learning quite a bit, actually :D My shuffle thingie is being really kind tonight! Though it could be nicer. I'd much rather show you the songs I REALLY love. Or the super nerdy ones! But hurrah, I love Groove.)

(... Yeah. Uh. His... book? Read by him? Which I haven't listened to yet? You know? Wtf I need to remove audio books and podfics and podcasts from the shuffle thing)

15: Butte Montana - Hank Green
(XD Damn, couldn't it have shuffled a better Hank song? This is more of a snippet of random singing, though. Not a real song. FAIL!)

16: Main Title - Xena Warrior Princess (Original Television Soundtrack)
(Took sixteen tries, but they ALWAYS pop up. At least the theme makes sense, and I like the full version. It could be way weirder.)

17: Astolat/Anatsuno: Feeding Frenzy - SGA
(Some random Rodney/Sheppy podfic, I assume. I've never listened to it, I think. We should blame frejasanne yet again.)

18: Talk Tonight - Oasis
(Could be frejasanne's fault, but I actually think I downloaded two songs on my own or something. Because I used to HATE Oasis when I was a kid. Whenever the radio or TV played them, I'd literally hide. I couldn't STAND it! No idea why, lol. Then I outgrew it and just didn't mind anymore. I wanted to try it out when I was all grown-up, so I did. Not sure if I downloaded this particular song, or if she sent it to me. Oh, and I never listen to their songs either xp See? This is just STUFF in my music folder... This is not music I actually listen to. I told you this wouldn't be accurate.)

19: Track 10 - Michael Shanks
MMMMM SHANKSY VOICE SO SEXY! Death. Mmm. I'm so completely literally melting in my chair. No, not literally. We can't melt. Humans, that is. Not like THAT, at least! But I'm all... Guuuh! ... Oh, god, I even forgot to make the little bracket-y thingie at the beginning of this comment. Mmmmm HAHAHAH, oh, Jack, you are retarded! Mmm, I can't stop listening. STOP IT GOD DAMMIT! This is a Stargate SG-1 audio book adventure thing from Big Finish Productions, anyway. Read by Michael Shanks. GOD. God. GODGODGOD so sexy!)

20: Nothing Else Matters - Metallica
(... ... .. . . .. .... SRSLY, GUIS! I listen to Shayne Ward! Cheese pop, and weird pop-y electro music crap! That is as far off from Metallica you can get! I don't listen to Metallica! Jesus Lord, no! ... XD This is pretty much what I consider to be shameful. I don't want anyone to think I listen to Metallica. I'm sure most people would think that listening to them is GOOD, though, and listening to Shayne Ward is BAD. Oh, whatever xp I am a strange nerd, after all.
This is another fail TyKa song, anyway. Some fool probably thought it was sooo fitting for that pairing. Which... I'm assuming it isn't. But what do I know, I haven't listened to the song for YEARS!)

21: Strong - Velvet Chain
(Buffy soundtrack. I don't remember what episode this song comes from. Random scene when they're at the Bronze, at least. With a random band playing random music in the background. I've actually listened to most of the Buffy soundtrack songs a lot in the past. Woo. I just have it because it's Buffy, you know? The songs themselves are kinda meh. Not bad, but meh.)

22: Life Is A Magic Thing - Johnny Clegg
(Hahaha :D first song played, kind of like an intro, to Ferngully! [FernGully?: The Last Rainforest]. Me hearts that movie and its soundtrack, even though it's completely silly!)

23: µ£¸Ü - µ£¸Ü
(Err- XD Chinese love song. It's really pleasant to listen to :) My brother sent it to me. He's a Hong Kong resident... So it makes sense, him listening to Chinese music, if you wonder why he sent me Chinese stuff. I'd ask him what it's called... But he's not online. I can edit later, if I remember? XD)

24: Just Forget About It - Max Payne
(Random suspenseful stressy music giving me a mild panic attack just listening to it e_e But omg omg I love that game! Not sure when this is... Probably just every now and then when you're in trouble and bad guys ARE EFFIN' TRYING TO KILL YOU SLOWLY! ... Why so much Max Payne? I thought it'd shuffle Xena stuff. I guess not.)

25: Carry on Dancing - Savage Garden
(Oh, lol, my old childhood love :D Hee. I'm so completely 12-13 years old again - or however old I was when I listened to it - when I hear this album. I still listen to them occasionally, when I remember that they exist. Both because it's good music, and because of the nostalgia.)



Well, that's that xp And it didn't cover any of my favorite music apart from, like, two songs. If even that much?
