I actually enjoyed Kush a lot, so I wasn't going to argue. I'd planned to point it out, though, ever since the preview and such. Like "Haven't they done this already?"
It seemed very Kush with some added Requiem or whatever, to me.
But this explains it. I don't know if it makes it better or worse. They should try something new, one could say. But since I personally liked Kush (and Requiem for that matter) and love callbacks, I'm not complaining now.
And they mentioned both and just. What's the word? Sequel! It's more like a sequel. And that's okay!
Wait. Why are Declan and Helen splitting up?

This I knew from the picture going around before the episode. Hence being all "Supposedly!Helen" earlier.
But wow
Of course! Both Will and Helen were alone. Why would they randomly split up? So the individual ones they found now are likely migoi, and here comes the real Helen Will team-up team! And they never split up.
I guess?
