Mind Wind Open

I went to Stockholm with frejasanne and that was a blast! I followed her around everywhere because I had no idea where we were going, and without her I would've probably gotten lost. Or taken literally hours to get to places. And I would've stayed inside in misery instead of braving town in the rain.

Met up with friends from all over Sweden, sort of, and one local chick actually living in Stockholm. They were all lovely, and it was fun although I was very tired, and the SciFi Game and Film convention was brilliant. Walked around. Met a random guy who knew me, he was nice!
Had two proper conversations with Michael Shanks, got an autograph on my "Daniel-Hat" (lol, the kind of boonie early seasons-Daniel wears a lot), and took two pictures with him. I mean, the actual photoshoot kind.

I suppose I might post about the experience more in detail later?
But right now I am miserable, and I have been since Tuesday, because I have a terrible cold. Worth it! So worth it. I don't mind, really, if this is the price I have to pay for a good time in Stockholm. But I do feel miserable and drugged and tired, and therefore uncomfortable ranting online. Because I honestly have no idea what I'm typing half the time. I'm sort of on the edge of being dizzy most of the time. But I'm sure it'll be fine soon.

I so won't have time to watch Sanctuary today. I was going to, but then my sleep was interrupted in the morning, and I was awake for about two hours and did nothing but try to fall asleep again, and then I slept two hours once I finally fell asleep. So somehow I ended up getting up hours later than planned, what with all that drama.

I'm going to frejasanne's tonight, so I should pack some overnight stuff and put on proper clothes.
And then I want to eat a bit, and leave early.

So no rewatch and Sanctuary post until Thursday or Friday. Meh.

Hello, new people on my flist!

My journal is a constant mess of real life optimism, angst, lack of real drama (I just exaggerate things in my head, I'm such a drama queen!) and fandom craziness.

This TV season I'm going to post more about my shows, because I think real life stuff can get boring. I'm going to try to balance it out more.

Sanctuary premieres today! I am extremely excited. Sadly I live in Swedenland and I won't get to see it until tomorrow. But I'm fine with that! Nothing I can do about it, anyway.

Just  a few things I want to see during the new season:

• A lot more Five flashbacks, more Five interaction in general. (I miss Watson!)
• Lots of any kind of Tesla
• Lots of Henry with more backstory/story in general
• Helen backstory. Wouldn't complain if we got to see more of her past love life. Surely there must've been other people after (or before?) John. A woman, at some point, even? It's Helen, I wouldn't rule it out. Would love to see the  fandom rumors turn real on screen
• A visit by Ashley through flashback or anything, really, if they can pull off writing it.
• More fun guest stars, please!

What's fun about this season is that I am completely unspoiled. I basically knew everything there was to know last time. This is refreshing, but I also feel kind of sad and out of the loop.
