maccadoleOkay! Random thoughts in random order because I don't remember it all too well.
Kate! More screen time for Kate always. The lines, and the acting, and the reactions, and the dealing with the Abby thing and the feeding Will. Kate kicked so much ass in this episode. She was adorable, is the word. Adorable!
And the scene with Henry was sweet. I do ship them a bit, I do. A tiny bit. I think, yeah.
It was... an interesting idea with the camera work. I didn't love it, though. It can be cool, shot like that. I don't have an issue with it. But what with the vision fuzz and the breathing and the angles. It got a bit much. But it was fun for an episode, sure.
Helen looked SO GOOD. Wonderful outfits, nice jewelry, and can I have her hair, please? And those heels, my god! They can kill a person.
Will's dream had me dying. Seriously, the fuzzy vision, the muffled sound, the heartbeat dun dun-score for a moment there. Seeing himself? The hallways? ... Oh the hallways! Seriously! The score and the hallways and running after someone. Through hallways. In fuzzy slow motion. Do you guys have ANY idea how insanely like Max Payne's dreams that was? You have NO idea!
I lol'd and fangirled.
Which makes it ironic that last I wrote about Max Payne and Sanctuary together... it was after Instinct, where they also did the first hand camera view thing. And that was because the warehouse reminded me of a warehouse in Max Payne 2, and the... janitor... cleaning... worker... dude. Whatever he was. Had a jumpsuit with one very similar logo patch thing on the back, like the cleaning company in that warehouse in MP2 has.
Improve his Bruce Willis impression! I lol'd. Also Henry commenting on Spiderman, thank youuu, I was hoping we'd get that reference from the nerd. (The whole chandelier thing was hilarious, by the way. Yes, Henry, you should've probably known that.) And how is Henry so pretty anyway?
And the Sanctuary is so pretty, too! I like modern designs a lot, and such, but also old. Because there's something very charming about it. The Sanctuary, both outside and in, looks amazing. I would NOT mind living there. I'd feel right at home.
CHUCK! TWO-FACE GUY! CHUCK! Big Guy and that room! NO WAY! Best. Ever! Made the entire episode, near to! And the look between Will and Biggie as Kate and Henry went on about the fight and everything! Oh, man, mission craziness!
Will called his dad! Will's called his dad before and left a number. Whoa! I like it.
Could be interesting.
Everybody's reactions as they looked at Will when he was locked up. Aw, Big Guy putting his hand on the glass. And Henry looked... oh, man. And KATE! That sad little look and... her arm all... Aww.
And then Helen chickened out the the most adorable, emotional way. Of course she did after that speech.
Nice character callback with her acting stressed and denialy about Will being gone like she did in Eulogy with Ashley! Aww.
Also! Hollow Earth stuff. Boring in a way, since I didn't care too much for Pax. Been a bit anti Hollow City and all that since. But at least more of that means that half the season wasn't completely wasted. I expected we'd get to see more of it. Well, not literally see. But that it'd be mentioned again.
I probably had other things I wanted to point out, but I forget.

Again with the logo on the laptop! That's been going on for a while now and I've pointed it out every time I've noticed it. I think it's really cool. And this time it was really obvious, so people can't have missed it. The logo is so pretty, too! Do you think it's an in-show Sanctuary logo thing somehow or is it just a thing the series crew snuck in there? Either way, it's pretty. I should print or somehow get one for my own tiny little Eee.
