Yeah, I did read about Agam's scheduling and all that. I caught up on it eventually. Right after my post, really, that's when I read all other reaction posts, and comment threads, and delved through Information Bucket after Information Bucket. I still don't know any details, though, and I spontaneously think they should've fought to keep her focused on Sanctuary. But I'm selfish. I want more Kate!
But if she wanted/needed to go do other things as well, I get that. I need to get over myself. I'm just cranky because I finally started liking her, and then we get even less of her. It has little to do with whatever reason it is.
I definitely think the episode was good! I didn't OH MY GOD love it like mad, but that doesn't mean it was bad. I especially realized that it was a good episode after I thought back on some of the really bad episodes we've had. Well, not even necessarily BAD. But boring?
But the thing with the two Helens and a loop I don't quite understand. Because, see, there shouldn't be a loop.
Say present Helen is Our Helen, and the past one is Victorian Helen.
Our Helen WAS Victorian Helen. Now she is our 2010/2011/whenever we are by now-Helen. She goes back in time after Adam, sees her Victorian self run around, and she hides. Victorian Helen never knew her future self was there. Our Helen then supposedly lives 100+ years, waiting for 2011 to come, while - simultaneously - Victorian Helen is living her life as well. So there are two Helens at the same time for only a little while. But Victorian Helen then grows up and becomes the 2011 one that eventually goes back in time, and the minute she does that there is only one Helen - Our 100+ Helen - and she can pop in and go "Tadaa I just jumped into a Time Hole but now I am standing here!"
SHE doesn't need to go in the time hole thing, because the other Helen is already doing so. By now 100+ Helen is watching Our (original) Helen disappear after Adam, because that's 100+ Helen's past, and then from 2011 she can continue living normally.
