I do suck. I know, feel free to shoot me. I don't write here enough. I am a boring person. But I dunno... I don't write a lot at diaryland either.
I'm just too lazy, tired and... blah.
But here I am! I'm back now. Gosh! Uppcon pwned so friggin' much. It was seriously one of the best things I've ever done in my life.
It was scary, odd... and I wasn't exactly as social and... stuff.. like I wanted to. But it was worth it anyway. Loved every second of it.
I just need some training. Next time I bet I'll be even more hyper and talk more.. and be all... Social. Lols.
Did I ever mention WANO? Yeah, whatever. It's the local association here in Lulea. We have about 60 members now. We're quite big.
Yeah, okay... No, I understand how you'd think... Well, not. But for this being Sweden and a tiny shitty town. Well, we're doing good! 60 members is like... Wow. Besides. We're new to this. Only been around a short while.
Yeah... so I went with WANO to Uppcon. So we got this contribution-thingie-whatever. 1000kr for each person. That makes it 5000 since we were five. Yay! That was for food and crap. So as long as I went with the gang... I got free food. Which was very good.
'Cause I sort of ran out of money. I had such panic. I even forgot the extra money at home. So I was seriously broke. I only had 20kr when I went home again.
I bought a yaoi manga (omg, yay gay porn XD <3), a Gloomy Bear and a Tamahome key-chain thingie I have on my bag now. (Blah, a Fushigi Yuugi character. I'm so in love with him.)
My friend Anna went insane and bought things for 2000kr, though. Eek!
Yeah, and ED came here. That strange EnglishDoode. He scared me. I scared him. Feel the love.
Q and Mitsu-chan came over and met him.
Yeah, and also... I went around traveling like an idiot even after I came home from Uppcon. So I didn't have a quiet moment alone for ages.
Hence I'm not online as much nowadays. I just simply need to catch up with my alone time.
Ooh~ when we got to Stockholm, arlanda. We pondered a bit whether or not we should go into the actual city of Stockholm or just go straight to Uppsala.
We wanted to go to the science fiction bookstore though... So Stockholm it was! There I bought the fourth Beyblade manga (omg, yay!) and... Oh gosh! A Buffy/Angel magazine. So pretty! I wanted to buy all of them! Could only afford one. Gah!
My fangirl health is bad...
Then we went to Uppsala... By train. Met some odd anime-manga-dude-people on the train... one guy took pictures of us. Once in Uppsala we walked to the hostel place thingie where we were going to stay and put our things there.
Since we got there later that planned we screwed the waiting at line for the actual con and went eating at a chinese place instead. Yummmm.
Then... We went to Uppcon! The line was... Well, gone basically.. and we got in fairly fast. Somehow we lost each other and I ended up walking along there with only Anna by my side. Lots of pretty things to look at! Lots of pretty things to buy!
At ten pm when the con closed we went back to the hostel thingie and hanged out with some random dude called Wes-- Wesker? Or something. He was neat. I didn't say much that night though.
I text messaged with Q instead. *unsocial freak*
Next day Oskar walked to ICA (I'm guessing it was... a swedish supermarket) and bought us some breakfast. Yet again we seated ourselves in the kitchen and.. Well, ate obviously! Then Uppcon again!
That day I met Nilly from kaitaka.net. It was very hilarious how I walked up to the wrong person first. xD Sweatdrooop~!
Yeah, and a note. (has nothing to do with Uppcon mindyouyesthanks) It was Kai's birthday yesterday. My american uber cool friend that is. A female Kai xp
Anyway! Ramble, ramble!
It was fun when I met Can. She gav me a birthday present. Yes, a bit late. But we haven't met in ages so...
It was a cd! Happy now! But then... Yes, then... I got a christmas present too. And it was a friggin' Buffy collection dvd thing with the character Giles!
I literally died on the floor from happiness.
Mac: *half-faints and falls down to her knees looking at the dvd* *squees and hugs the dvd*
Can: Eh... *smiles oddly*
Amelie (Can's friend): Oh...
Oskar (just arriving): Hey, there you are. I've been looking for you. We're gonna go eat.
Mac: I got a present!
Oskar: A present?
Mac: I got a present!
Oskar (turns to Can): Is she okay?
Mac: I got a present... I died!
Can: A Christmas present...
Oskar: Yeah, I thought I saw some christmas paper... What for? It's not christmas.
Can: Late present
Amelie: Why did she die?
Can: Because it's a Buffy thing...
Oskar: ...
Mac: *falls over on her back, legs in all directions*
Oskar: Umm... Do you need help? *reaches out hand* Are you coming eating?
Mac: Uh-huh.... *nods* Uh-huh...
He helped me up, I hugged Can and then we went to eat.
xD Amelie seemed nervous, Can was calm as a.. Well, I don't know what and Oskar mostly seemed puzzled. It was all very fun now that I think back of it.
People close by stared, too.
I watched a bit of an anime called Saikano. It was neat.
Anyway, yeah. Half of us in the gang weren't hungry all of the times we went to eat. Hilarious according to me. The going out eating was fun.
Also, the cosplay and AMV contest sort of ruled. A yaoi amv won. So awesome...
At the hostel there was a creepy old foreign in our room. Apparently he didn't even have an reservation. Stupid perverted man! He shouldn't even have been there.
Yeah, and I also forgot to mention we shared a room with two other Uppcon guys. We didn't speak to them a lot. But they seemed neat enough.
From Sunday to Monday I slept at Can's place even though we booked another night at the hostel thingie. I wanted to hang a bit. I don't see her often.
Then we were a bit late at Monday morning... So, stress! But I made it in time for the train back to Stockholm... and we made it with our flight... and that's it!
Back home!
Yeah, oh. When I had my "A Gay Invitation to Gravitation" t-shirt a girl complimented it... and during Saturday when I had my pink chinese dress the Gloomy selling lady asked if she could take a picture of me.. Because she thought I looked cute. Like, what the hell? Thank you?
And the best thing EVER...! When I had on my TyKa - kaitaka.net - Kai x Takao shirt another girl came up to me, smiling nervously and asking if she could take a picture of it!
WHEE~! Spread the TyKa love!!
