:D
I mucho mucho mucho approve of the latest Merlin episode! It gave me a definitive happy.
And the preview after the first episode? Killed me dead.
I'm surprised how much I liked Arthur/Gwen. I didn't see that coming! Me liking it, that is. I've never really paired anyone from this show together, apart from my half-serious shipping of Arthur/Merlin... Because, hello, I'm a complete and utter faghag and I slash anything that moves. (Seriously, I slashed two bikes once. I'm mentally ill...)
All their scenes alone together were like "AAAH!" and that kiss broke my brainnnn! So pretty! With the sun! And angle! And the still, quiet, lingering awesomeness! AAAHHH!
And how they can't really be together because of the epicly sad Romeo/Juliet-esc kinda situation! I'm so weak for depressing shit like that. It's so romantic, in a way!
My favorite movie of all times is a completely silly romantic adventure with that exact theme. (Ladyhawke, btw. Which I need to rewatch. Ohhh, and by the by, the guards make me think of that movie all the time! Because Ladyhawke is set during medieval times as well :D And- and- and- the red guards look just like the guards in that movie and eeeee Navarre and eeee-- Wait, I'm talking about Merlin here xp Not Ladyhawke.
Fail.)
Back in the days (I feel old even though I'm not...) I was SO in love with Buffy/Angel, too. Because of the same reason. Well, partly that.
Naw, lol, that was so cute. I was all tiny and it was my first real fandom. Well, or, I wasn't active within the fandom as such, but it was my first show.
It might be a pretty cliché storyline but it kills me every time. Which is strange. Why do I like it so much? I should like happy-happy relationships. But I don't knooow.
I think it appeals to me so much because of the struggling against all odds and overcoming it blah blah love and peace and happily ever after in the end :DD
Eeee! I hope they do, in the end. Well, maybe not END end. But... You know? A middle sort of end... OR end-end. ... Am I making any sense? (That'll be my mental illness speaking again.)
But it is much too early to speak of such things. I'll have to see where this goes, what will happen, and how I'll feel about it later.
We'll see...
Especially since I'm 100% unspoiled for Merlin. Apart from the previews at the end of the episodes, if those count.
So we'll definitely see.
